On Wednesday, December 4th, Chavez Power Patrol students completed their first power patrol of the school!! They also hung posters!! Check out the pictures!

2nd Power Patrol

The second Power Patrol of the year was a success! We visited 3 classrooms and audited them with the new Power Patrol Worksheets. Each classroom turned off their lights at the end of the day. Keep up the good work!

During the after school program we introduced the idea of saving energy and sustainability by reading Dr. Seuss’s "The Lorax," and following up with a discussion.

Power Patrol Meeting

At today’s meeting we looked over the draft of the skit and picked rolls. We also added "Turn it off" stickers to the light switches in al the downstairs rooms.
