Shakopee’s Nature Programs

Shakopee Schools have a few programs that have students working towards creating a beeter natural environment. The Environmental Ethics and Ecology class is a combined course taught by Ed Loiselle and Billy Koenig focused on getting students to find a vested interest in the outdoors, and make something out of it. There is also the Students Understanding Nature (SUN) Club which is an extension of the class that allows any student to come and experience and learn more about the outdoors. Through better understanding of nature, we hope students start to respect nature.
